At Harmony Equine Nutrition, our mission is to provide guidance and support to deeply caring horse owners, empowering them to move forward with clarity and confidence in how they feed their equine partners.
We believe that no two horses are the same. Every horse is an individual with unique nutritional needs, and we believe they should be fed accordingly.
Our approach is guided by the belief that equine nutrition is best viewed through a holistic lens and supported by science-backed evidence. We focus on creating balanced feeding plans tailored to each horse's unique lifestyle, health, and workload, helping them thrive through nutrition that supports their wellbeing from the inside out. Our nutrition programs are independently developed, ensuring our recommendations remain unbiased and are not affiliated with any feed companies or specific equine products.
To us, the name Harmony Equine Nutrition reflects our philosophy of approaching horse health from a holistic perspective. Creating harmony within the body begins by considering every element of your horse's daily life and needs. This approach allows us to identify areas where they could be better supported, while also recognising and utilising what is already working well, helping create a diet that ultimately supports harmony within your horse.
Our Mission and Approach
About Me
Hi, I'm Elise, a passionate horse mum to my beautiful Thoroughbred, Prince, and the human behind Harmony Equine Nutrition.
My journey into studying equine nutrition began a few years ago when, like many horse owners, I started to question whether what I was feeding Prince was truly best for him. There are many good sources of information available; however, the more I learnt, the more curious I became. This ultimately led me to study with Legacy Equine Nutrition—a PhD-led and developed program—and earn my certification as an Equine Nutrition Advisor.
Witnessing the positive transformation in my Thoroughbred, Prince, after transitioning him to a balanced, species-appropriate, science-backed diet tailored to his unique needs was immensely enlightening. This inspired my passion for supporting and empowering other horse owners to achieve the same positive outcomes for their own horses.
Whilst I am a Certified Equine Nutrition Advisor, my passion for continued learning remains strong. My experience and ongoing studies in classical dressage enhance my ability to assess equine health through a whole-horse perspective, recognising the interconnected nature of the equine body. In addition, I am committed to furthering my equine nutrition education through the advanced ENA II program with Legacy Equine Nutrition, ensuring I continue to expand my knowledge and provide the best possible support for horses and their owners.
